The Peckham Settlement Trustees are pleased to have awarded the following grants. We encourage you all to take a look at the groups working in our neighbourhood and support them where you can.

Applications for the Emergency Fund and the General Fund are still open, and we would welcome submissions or questions in advance, so please do get in touch if we can help support you and your work.

 

The Emergency Fund (up to £500)

  • Dream Believe Achieve (DBA) CIC (pictured above)
    • Working to empower young disadvantaged women (11-16), their 3-month Peckham programme seeks to assist in overcoming individual boundaries hindering progression and fulfilment.
  • SE15 Community Fund
    • Offering financial help to people located in the SE15 postcode, who may be struggling due to the COVID-19 pandemic or other circumstances.
  • Nunhead Knocks
    • Community group supporting people across Peckham and Nunhead affected by the COVID crisis, by providing food parcels, electricity/gas top ups, bulk food purchases for local charities and other activities.
  • Peckham Rights!
    • Supporting individual and community organisations in Peckham through capacity building, community development, and education on using human rights frameworks in local advocacy.
  • Peckham Town Football Club
    • Local community asset since 1982 with 22 teams, including men, women, junior and ‘minis’.
  • The Ernest Foundation
    • Supporting people living with and affected by HIV – based in Peckham since 2006, working with individuals across Southwark.
  • Association des Senegalais(es) du Royaume-Uni (ASRU)
    • Community group working with and for Senegalese migrants living in Southwark, particularly in SE15 and SE17.
  • Centre for the Advancement of Development and Human Rights
    • Assisting community groups in setting up and effectively running their businesses.
  • The scissors of Oz / The Sisters of Oz
    • Creative hair and healing in hub in Peckham, supporting local hairdressers.

General Fund (up to £5,000)

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so if you’ve applied and haven’t heard from us we aim to be in touch shortly. Please do get in touch with any questions or ideas.
