In 2018 our range of beneficiaries extended to include Aaina Women’s Group, Burgess Park Food Project, Central Southwark Community Hub, CCDC7 (Carl Campbell Dance Company7), Community TV Trust (for its knife crime work), South London Cares, SL Creatives.

Previously in 2017, we had awarded grants to Age UK Lewisham and Southwark for their MENders (men’s shed) project in Peckham, Bede House for their work on Domestic Violence in Peckham, Brimmington Park Festival 2017, Pioneer Afro Caribbean Over 50s, Link Age Southwark for their work combatting isolation among older residents.

In 2016 we re-launched in June. Our first beneficiary in our new manifestation was the HOurbank project which used to be run out of The Peckham Settlement in its time as a community centre and is now part of PECAN. We made a second grant award in 2016 to Peckham Coal Line whose development we were assisting. This ambitious local project stands to benefit the whole SE15 community.
